Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) - 'Millennium Falcon' scene [1080p]

John Powell did a superb job adapting many of John Williams' classic Star Wars themes for the new Han Solo film, and this was one of the highlights. As befitting the magical moment when Han first sets eyes on the Falcon, he gives us a shimmering, epic rendition of the main Star Wars theme, ending it with the rebel fanfare.

Starring Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Paul Bettany, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Thandie Newton, Joonas Suotamo and Warwick Davis. Directed by Ron Howard, with original score by John Powell and John Williams.

The Millennium Falcon design in this movie is actually pretty cool, and in line with Ralph McQuarrie's concept art for it.

I was in awe as my jaw dropped when I saw this scene for the first time. Because this time, I was finally able to saw “wow” at a first sighting of the millennium falcon.

When this film opened on its first day, I remember seeing and hearing the theater fans clapping/screaming wildly when the Falcon shows up ( :46 ). Great moment. For those who haven't seen Solo, it's a great film. On par with " Rogue One " and WAY better than the SW sequels.

When your a kid the falcon is the coolest ship in the galaxy and of all fiction. Overtime you develop a love in a way to us, its like a your favorite all time used vehicle. She may not look like much but she's got it where it counts, She may break down but she also get's you out of trouble when you need it too. When this moment came I got a little emotional thanks to how Donald Glover introduced it, How Alden Ehrenreich and Joonas Suotamo show the amazed look, the slower epic version of the Star Wars theme playing basically saying ladies and gentlemen this is Star Wars. I'd hate to give the wrong credit to Ron Howard or to Lord and Miller but whoever did shoot this part thank you for adding to that as well.

I thought this was a very entertaining movie. I had low expectations. Definitely would like to watch it again.
