Harrison Ford in Solo: A Star Wars Story [DeepFake]

Solo: A Star Wars Story was met with a lot of disappointment from fans, a lot of people thought there were better actors suited to playing a young Han Solo rather than Alden Ehrenreich.
We were able to create a data set of a young Harrison Ford by extracting high quality images from some of his earliest films. Using this data set we are able to "train" a deep fake model to learn how to create a new mask that we can overlay onto the original film to give the illusion that it is Harrison Ford playing Han Solo.
Whilst it doesn't give a real idea of Fords acting style or voice, it's still cool to imagine a movie where he starred as a young Solo.

A lot of comments talking about deep fake voice.
It is a thing, but it's still a way off from sounding really good.
Also it takes way too many manual hours of transcribing and processing text/audio, for a 2 minute video, it's just unfeasable.
It's something I keep a close eye on and when I believe it's good enough, I will definitely start to use it.

This just shows how good Alden Ehrenreich’s performance was actually because, without the face, he played a young Han Solo. Not just Harrison Ford.
