Good review. I picked this car up a few weeks ago. Amusingly, at the time this model was not even on my radar. I have access to a BMW X5 company car, which I don't use too much because of mileage/useage allowances. That said I wanted a daily driver that was similarly spacious, but obviously not as expensive, and with better fuel economy. Was looking at a 3 Series, 4 Series Gran Coupe, Mercedes C Class, Jaguar XE, XF and 5 Series, and in the end, after multiple test drives of different vehicles, walked away with a brand new GT M Sport. It has the boot capacity of a 5 Series or Touring, only with more rear legroom than both (perhaps even more than the X5 too!), and handling dynamics similar to a 3 series, only a little more comfortable and with a slightly higher seating position that gives better visibility. Fact that it's cheaper than a 5 Series also makes it a better deal. When you stick it in Sport/Sport+ with Sport Auto, you also get great handling dynamics (including lighter steering), which I didn't expect from such a big car. Fuel economy is decent too, especially for the size. I also went with an M Sport version with 19" wheels like the one in this vid, as it makes it look that little bit more aggressive and sporty. Really happy with the purchase.

I think the ground clearance is the key factor which gives it an edge over relativity rough terrain. Personally I would've kept the body the same height as the 3 series but only raised the suspension.
You can even see the purpose for this vehicle from the official video. It is practical, close to an SUV interior dimensions, sporty, but you can also take it on unpaved roads (still not off road).

My neighbor had one and when I saw it for first time I absolutely fell inlove. It's just a beautiful car between SUV and a sedan. I can't wait until next week when I am going to buy one.

I bought the 335d gt and I looked at it from different angles and sometimes I thought it was ugly then from others it looked lovely...I tow a caravan with mine and it still leaves many cars behind with all that juicy torque...As an everyday car it ticks all the boxes for me...fast.. economic..spacious..4x4..

Just Love the 3 Series GT I can't even decide which colour I like the most cuz its such a slick and beautiful car I want to drive this one day thats for sure..

yes they tend to put an ///m when it has the m-sport package but they never put the model number only, if it's not an m car. They put the model number, the power of the engine and if it's petrol or diesel.

Actually I think it looks much better than the 5 series GT, because it is not as big and the back is a little bit more like an real coupé.

Had one of these today on hire... I was pretty dissapointed at first but the looks deffinately grew on me. Feels a lot sturdier than a standard 3series saloon!

That M package is sweet. I would buy one because it looks half truck but still has car handling

You have the M-pack, the comfort-pack, different sets of set-ups, equipment, colors and so on. The M-pack gives you a black and grey interior, with lots of M-badges here and there, sports seats and a lower and stiffer undercarriage/suspension. There are also special wheels to choose fron and a limited range of special "M" paint-jobs/colors. I was just at the dealer's today, so I know this.: )

I got one of these and never figured out why my 3 series felt bigger than my E-class wagon. So one day I googled it, it's 9, 5cm longer 12, 5cm wider & 5, 5cm taller than an E-class wagon

I thought about getting the x1 but realized I liked the 3 series better and did not want the touring wagon looked a little too boxy, but this just fits the bill, can't wait till this comes out

there's modern, sport and luxury now, and even if there are a lot m-sport cars each one is unique
