My girlfriend and I got clean together and i couldn't ask for a better life. I hope the best for anyone struggling out there.

My 32 y/o son is 38 days clean today. I kicked him out last January. It was the hardest thing in my life. I tried helping him since he was 16 to get off the opiates. He had to realize how cold it gets in Ohio. Guess he got tired of sleeping outdoors and got himself into detox and now sober living. I pray that God keeps him sober. 🙏 Slowly I am on speaking terms again. A parents ultimate job is to make sure their child can stand on his own after the parent is gone.
