Even though I’m a WoT Console veteran, it really has been fascinating seeing how far PC and Console have been drifting apart over the last 4 years, and ESPECIALLY since 2020. In 2020, Console had its devastating Update 6.0 and has introduced an entirely new “Cold War” mode which has divided the community into camps that support either Cold War or the original WW2 game.

PC now has simply tons (dare I say too much) of equipment and skill optimization choices that may begin to make the bridge between experienced players and noobs practically impossible to repair.

Console used to be pretty much a simplified carbon-copy of PC but then our Devs introduced a rebrand in early 2018 known as “Mercenaries” in order to push their mantra of “we are not PC” even though that’s what most of the community wanted us to be. Ever since then, Console and PC have drifted farther and farther apart.

I am a supertester for World of Warships and I can confirm, WG does not listen to any input or feedback on anything like this.

You just created your account, have fun for the first hundred battles.but then....
You start realizing that you have to play thousands of battle against OP premium tanks and super competitive equipped tanks, in order to be decent and obtain that equipment for yourself.
You will probably have to sacrifice your time, your mental health, and at a certain point even your money.
And at the end of all this you are still going to get f by "the new op premium tank" or by RNG.

6 minutes into the video and I am already sure that players are going to be using these equipment to make their autoloaders like Kranvagn and Vz55 become OP. All three combined will make autoloaders very powerful. You can escape faster, reload faster, have more hitpoints so you are not worried about loosing some hp while unloading your drum. dammit man! Vz55 is already pretty powerful as it is.

they were always going to add it, they wanted to add it in for lootboxes, saw the backlash, stopped adding it and everyone became happy and bought the lootboxes so now theyre adding it back again

Its cheaper to get players complain than actually pay someone to test everything in the game before releasing it.

I'll probably use the free units, but apart from that, I have no interest in grinding and will pretty much ignore this stuff. I'll continue to play for fun, and doubt I'll notice the difference in the enemy tanks. If I do, I'll try to be more accurate and sneakier. It's all about challenging myself, not playing other people's game ;)

Wargaming not listening to the playerbase? That's just as surprising as the sun rising in the morning.

Imagine the game a year from now after skill changes also are in the game. New players will stop playing once they get to higher tiers and keep getting farmed by players who have more time in the game. Playerbase will keep shrinking as Wargaming squeezes the last penny out of the remaining whales.
