I throw off an 1800 kilogram bomb from a ju 288
aircraft carrier: I don't care at all, only when you bring a 3000 kilogram bomb, that's when I may break down

It’s because, there is many bombs and torpedos were still in the hanger instead of down in the safe points.
So that mean, Dive Bomber were not effective at all time.

For example, IJN Zuiho was hit by 2 bombs, it cost minor damage on flight deck and her engine was undamage.

Maybe because both it was a modestly sized bomb and dropped horizontally rather than vertically like a dive bomber. In a dive bomber they are able to carry heavier ordinance and when diving the bombs come down at a steep angle and at significant velocity allowing penetration of the flight deck roof. At least in unarmored flight deck carriers. Armored flight deck carriers are more resistant. It looks like here it just made contact with the deck and exploded on the surface. Which while causing damage to the wood paneling over the deck plating is not beyond the scope of repair.

Ir was big enaugh, just needed to drop both 2 bombs, set less fuse delay and fly right above the deck. Now player dropped only one bomb, set really long fuse delay and flew too high.. its all about filming angles. Thats my lil advice, if my pc was better i could make whole movie out of war thunder xd
