Should Christians observe the dietary laws? I differ with Dr. Michael Brown's answer to this question, so I decided to interact with his arguments.

Whatever was a sin in the beginning is a sin today. God does not change!
God bless you, David!

Over the last 3-4 years I’ve been trying to keep Torah, I’ve found that the dietary laws are the one thing that gets people so mad and ready to argue. That and the whole Christmas topic… people really don’t want to stop eating pork or stop observing a pagan holiday. It’s wild to me. Thanks for this video brother.

Praise God for David, he is truly a gift to the Church.

My family keeps the dietary laws. I believe we must. If you want to be grafted in that means you become like them in faith and in deed.

Brother David thank you for this wonderful teaching. After two years watching this video over and over, I am still delighted watching it today. You were sufficient clear explaining that. I wish Dr. Brown could revisit this topic and another one he did on the sabbath of the Lord. I am saying that because he has an important audience, I Believe that would help his followers. Shalom

1 (Corinthians 10:25) Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, (translated market) that eat, asking no question for conscious sake: For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof. I agree with Dr. Brown on this issue; but I love your humility! Be blessed!🙏🏾🤗💞

Great counter arguments! I, too, highly respect Dr Brown. So when he took that stance about dietary laws, I was surprised. Thank you for taking the time to post this.

This is what I have discovered. You see I have asthma and I need an inhaler to relieve the tightness of breathing but when I obeyed the dietary laws of God I became less dependant with the inhaler. In fact, I can eat more fruits and other foods which formerly I was allergic to so definitely whatever God says we should put our trust in Him.

Blessed be the Lord God Jesus.

Expressing disagreement in a respectful way. I highly respect that. The Father makes distinctions n cares about what we consume. Thank you for a very clear teaching with Scriptures to back it up.

After some questions came with my christian walk. I decided to understand those laws step by step, I stopped eating unclean food. We need to be prepared for the return of Yeshua, in any corner of our live.

Paul rebuked Peter to his face, because Peter had been "eating with the Gentiles" before the Jerusalem party came to Antioch. Paul himself said to Peter, "You live like a Gentile..." (and Paul himself said he was not under Law. Scripture is so clear about this, all over the New Testament.

Excellent David! The use of 2 Tim 3:16 there, was amazingly informed! To the Apostles the Tanakh was the "scriptures" they referred to indeed.

I believe you come to an accurate conclusion.
I've heard NT Christian pastors and apologists arguing against the modern culture using the very Law that they undermine when arguing against those who support Torah keeping.
The time is coming soon when the tensions between those who will Hear and Obey and those who will not is going to force a great divide. So let us all make every effort to show ourselves approved and save some, as many as are willing, by having an answer ready for the hope that lives within us.

Two of the four "beginner Laws" for the Gentiles are dietary Laws:
"...but that we write to them to abstain from the defilements of idols, and from whoring, and from what is STRANGLED, and from BLOOD." (Act 15:20)
The rest of the Torah was expected to be learned over time:
“For from ancient generations Mosheh* has, in every city, those proclaiming him – being read in the congregations every Sabbath." (Act 15:21)
*Moses is referenced here as the author of the Torah, ie. the "Law of Moses."

I agree with you.
Another argument is, to many Christians forget, that when the people came out of Egypt. Not all were Hebrew people. Even when the children of Israel went into the promise land, many people were not Hebrew people.
Yeshua Ha'Mashiach said in Matthew 5:17-20. We are still under the law. This means everyone will be judged by law.
Even Paul said he always kept the law.

I'm forever grateful that Jesus is where salvation is found and not by my performance of keeping rules. I'm also forever grateful for understanding what justification is and means to every believer
