I bought one of these jackets last year and wasn’t disappointed. The jacket is well made and the iron forge hemp material has a soft “broken-in” feel. It’s very warm and I like the hidden cuffs at the wrist. I’m 5’-10”, 175 and the medium fit perfectly.

So just some info for anyone interested in these jackets, I’m 5, 8 175 pounds and the medium fits with enough room to layer underneath. I’m usually sizing in a large with most Patagonia so I recommend sizing down unless you need a ton of room. I do quite a bit of masonry work which is extremely hard on my gear and this jacket has done nothing but impress. Almost a year in and I can’t imagine ever going with another brand. It’s built like a tank plus Patagonia will repair the jacket free of charge if you damage it. This is a major winner in the hemp workwear lineup.

Just got mine and holy shit is it comfortable and warm as FUCK. But not too warm, it keeps your body at the most comfortable temperature without overheating you’ve slipped into this thing for the first time it’ll make you see how much carhart is ripping people off

I'm just a bit unsure about sizing (if anyone on here can help me). I'm 5'5, but my chest is 43". Sizing guide says I should get a large, but everyone in the comments say it's really roomy, so I'll get a medium. Watching this video and seeing the flaps in the back for better shoulder movement, I'm even wondering if a small wouldn't be a better fit. I always have to choose sizes too big because otherwise I can't lift my arms over my head, but everything is always too big (bottom of jackets make it to mid-thigh, and their waist is so big that it looks like I'm wearing a dress). So, am I better off getting a medium jacket, or could I even get away with a small one?

Great styled jacket, cheap nasty plastic zips stops this from being a legendary jacket, so very close but tripped at the last hurdle. Might want to take a leaf out of the Barbour build quality handbook!
