My dad has an orange Patagonia jumper that he has has for 20 or so years. We found a photo of me when I was just born and he was wearing it in the photo and on the day we found the photo 😂

I thought I was the only one that called it Pattagucci.
But on another note Patagonia change the way manufacturing is done for all products form clothing to cars. By using recycled pop bottles to make clothes paved the way for manufacturers to use higher percentage of recycled materials in all products.

Offer to buy back to trade in any old merch, receipt or not, and recycle it in house. Offer credits on the website. People can keep getting the newest ones, it's less 3rd party retailers, and you can work with the environment better. It'll be expensive to start up but would stand out positively.

My dad has some Patagonia stuff he still wears a few times a month fromthe 90s. High quality stuff, but you don't need to spend $300 on a rain jacket, even if you are some hardcore climber or backcountry skier (coming from a Colorado native).

Who is buying new clothes every year? I only buy new clothes when mine stop fitting or when they get torn. Up until I turned 19 almost all my clothes were 10 years old. Then I had a huge growth spurt and went from preteen boy to woman in like a year. I had to change my whole closet. Nothing was more annoying.
