Look, all human beings make mistakes. No one is perfect. This is why everyone should be canceled.

Anyway, American Presidents are not immune to this.

This video is about the greatest mistake of every American president while they were in office. They’re worst failure, their biggest oopsie. You get it.

When I say “greatest mistake,” I mean the one thing they did that hurt the most people.
And when I say “thing they did that hurt the most people,” I say it with my historian hat on, looking at all of American history.

What mistakes did I make with this video?

I thought JFK’s was just gonna be “Driving in an open top convertible”

Garfield was such an S-tier person that his biggest mistakes were being too honest and trusting people.

I feel like a lot of the early slave holding presidents were like...

"We need to end the scourge of slavery... Not me though. I'm busy. Someone will probably do it sooner or later though"

I greatly appreciate that these mistakes are ranked by how much harm to how many people they caused, instead of how much personal political damage they caused.

Thank you for mentioning Ford's East Timor disaster. Most Americans know nothing about this shameful event in our history.

Too many people think patriotism is thinking their country is perfect. Truth is a country cannot improve without remembering its mistakes. Great vid

I’ll give Mr.Beat credit he’ll call out both sides of the aisles crap. He’ll give his honest opinion and won’t be afraid to state his opinion irregardless of who could potentially get offended by it.

This was way more interesting than my history classes and a great jumping off point for excellent conversation.

Mr. Beat’s dislike of Woodrow Wilson never gets old.

It’s crazy how a lot of these same laws and issues are constantly repeating themselves in different eras. Just goes to show how much we haven’t learned when it comes to our mistakes.

I'm weird, but I also loved my AP US History class. I feel like I'm back in that class with Mr. Beat. I appreciate how much scholarship he puts into his videos.

Biggest mistakes for presidents:

William H Harrison: "Beautiful day, i dont need a coat"

Lincoln: "Lets go see a play"

Garfield: "Lets take a train"

McKinley: "Lets go to the fair"

Kennedy: "Lets go for a ride. I need to clear my head"

Thank you for acknowledging the Philippine-American war, Mr. Beat. As a Filipino on the way to becoming an American, I find that not many Americans are familiar of this. Actually, not many Americans are not familiar of the Filipino involvement of fighting with the Americans in WW2 either and the WW2 aide by the Americans sort of washed over the atrocities of the Philippine-American war.

Really refreshing to hear a history Youtuber talk about this.

Clinton deserves an honorable mention for "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." It was a political slogan that went (really) badly.
