The Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1930 is widely considered one of President Hoover's biggest mistakes because it exacerbated the Great Depression by sparking a global trade war, drastically reducing international trade, and worsening economic conditions worldwide. in Video i made mistake.

I don’t think Herbert Hoover could’ve ended slavery given that it had already been stopped for a while lol

Remember when Trump tried to stop travel between the USA and connecting flights from China but got shut down and called a xenophobe?

I DISAGREE!!! Lincoln's BIGGEST mistake was accepting an invitation to the play "Our American Cousin"....at Ford's Theater!!!

I love how trumps biggest mistake was like saying he failed to keep away a swarm of mosquitos with a chain link fence.

The founders did nothing to end slavery, because they couldn't. The people still supported it.

Honestly, I feel like Kennedy's biggest mistake was insisting on riding around Dallas in an open top limousine despite literally everyone telling him it was a bad idea. In Taylor's case he was considering vetoing the Compromise of 1850 and preparing for war but he died before he could make a final decision because he didn't want to listen to his doctor.

Lincoln's biggest blunder was his choice of VP for the 2nd term. Johnson was worse than useless.

Many of them have a common big mistake: running for office in the first place.

I think for Hayes it's debatable, as what he did was part of the compromise for him to become president. If Samuel Tilden had become president, he would've also ended the reconstruction either way.

Wasn't Lincoln and Johnson Republicans?

Trump’s response was great but no matter what he did, this was always going to be the narrative from his critics. Inevitable that the pandemic would hit America the hardest with all the domestic/international traffic and number of heavily populated cities. What did he do that was so terrible?
