Ngl if I was casually walking past the chain link fence I put a lock and on saw a mcnally tag on it I'd be trying to find the key or pick it myself to collect that tag.

It's some years since, needing a couple of new padlocks around my home, I bought what looked like reasonable quality locks from a local hardware store. Can't recall the manufacturer, but it was a household name.
Opened the bubble packs at home and found both locks used identical keys.
24 hours later a guy from consumer services obliged the proprietor to open every pack on display, and found that a rack of 50 locks ALL had identical keys!

I got the ghost pick set from Peterson. Although it was a bit pricey, I picked my first lock in about 10 minutes using the single pin method. its been a great set to start the hobby. My next set is going to come from Covert Instruments...lock picking is very interesting!

One of my favorite memories is picking a love lock off of the bridge by my house and having the couple that placed it walk up on me and tried to call the cops. I know my local cops well, both of them lol. And the town maintenance guy has to cut the locks off every year so they dont mind me scrapping brass.
