How Hydraulic Ram Works. ✔

This video explains about the working of a hydraulic ram or hydraulic cylinder.
The hydraulic ram is used in a hydraulic circuit for accomplishing a particular work. It actually converts the hydraulic pressure energy to mechanical energy "productive work". This video clearly explained how a hydraulic ram works and how the resultant components linked with it moves for carrying out a work. It also covers the function and working of the control valve or valve block and its spool movement resulting in the corresponding movement of the ram.

Something similar happens when my lady grabs my rod. If she strokes my rod back and fourth I gush warm fluid too but it shoots straight out rather than being pushed back into my system. Thanks for the clear explanation dude! 😁😆

you didnt mention the relief valve. When the oil pressure reaches maximum, the pump will be damaged deu to high load.
