This is the only animation & word explanation thats clear & intuitive. Vids by other ppl pretend to understand the mechanics of this phenomenon & confuse more than guide.
So many thanks pls continue the good & generous effort & may be go into the details of the equations governing the gravitation flow & relation to pressures.
Alternatively if you can pls provide a good reference book the goes into the physics of it. God bless the lecturer, may you live long & prosper.

Great explanation. I would have illustrated that the reservoir is enclosed and building up pressure in a better way. Lake many smaller arrows pointing outwards along the edge, showing how the pressure is working on the cylinder.
