In 2016 i was doing a road trip and on my 36th birthday i had the change to visit the town and fell in love with it once again . I love Astoria. We go there to go grocery shopping year round because it’s about an hour away and it’s just an awesome town with lots of good food and fun things to do.

The other museum which should not be missed is Fort Clatsop National Historical Park just a few miles away along the Lewis and Clark River. On the way, at the west end of the Lewis and Clark River Bridge, is a memorial to Conde McCullough, the engineer who built most of Oregon’s many distinguished bridges along the coast and elsewhere.

You didn’t mention (1) the glass blowing place or (2) the mansion that takes tours or (3) the house on the hill that as in the movie Goonies. I don’t even live there but have visited several times when on vacation to the Ore. coast. I love Astoria too
