My Info:

The Gear I Use:

Here is my Akai MPC ONE Review its one of the best drum machine in 2021, after using this MPC ONE sampling machine I have really learned how to enjoy every step of making a beat, I’m into boombap beat making and I love sampling old records into my drum machine and this MPC ONE gives me all the futures that I need to make a sample beat. If you are trying to get a sampling boombap type beats, this Mpc one is the way to go. I was in beatween the MPC Live and the Ableton Push 2 but I ended up sticking with this MPC ONE and don’t regret my devotion. Thank you guys for taking the time and reviewing my video. I appreciate every one of you and ill keep pushing out more MPC ONE tutorials in a few more days. let me know if you guys have any questions.
Thank you and God Bless

I rocked an MPC 1000 for 15 years til it died. I replaced it with a One. Akai hit a home run with this machine. The sound, the library, the workflow, the feel, the look....everything is proper. Glad to see so many people enjoying them.

Just copped mine. For the SECOND time! Sold my first one and didn't give it a chance. At the time it didn't stand against my XL. Bought it again 6 months later. Love hearing reviews fron fellow XL users!

i feel your floppy pain 😭 -- Incredible review Mario, covered everything i'd want to know about the machine. I WISH the Live II had hard click buttons like the 2kxl or the one.. And that extra button per function is a must.. hmmmm... do i really need another MPC? haha. Thanks again for making this video, Sub'd!

This was enjoyable hearing from someone who started with the XL and went straight to the One and for you to be so happy with how it all turned out. That's great perspective. thanks for the information and keep up the good work...

I love an honest review. Akai has a great workflow. It varies a bit from machine to machine. But in general, solid workflow. There's a learning curve just like with anything, but after you get the basics, muscle memory just takes over and it all falls in place.

Nice review, I used to make beats on ACID DAW in the early 2000's and you are absolutely correct this is extremely easy to use. What impressed me the most when I bought this is the fact that Amazon had this on my doorstep at 745am the next morning.

I still use an mpc 60 from the early 80's no updates, never crashed it does 2 things samples and makes beats limited sample time but forces creative thinking and processing and I'm more productive on it also it makes you more keen to your drums since your limited but super dope sound 12 bit crunch and warmth I love it

Your video is 🔥. Your passion is palpable and your experience with an older MPC is invaluable. Being able to honestly speak about how far we've come with our technology.

My first sampler was an MPC2kXL, bought back in 99 I think. It was new tech then, but still could be considered pretty slow considering DAW was already taking hold and I could have easily gone that way instead. However midi controllers had terrible latency so hardware made total sense for me. That aside it was more about a workflow and style of music that comes from using an MPC. Fast forward twenty something years and you can produce with controllers and even over bluetooth so that's huge and the workflow is improved so much by advances in chips, ram, software etc. Never the less and to get to my point, the thing is still taking the time to find something that's unique and is a genuine creation! This is imo to often lost in so much of the 'instant' and 'fast' technology. I'm not saying people aren't doing it and in the case of the dude here he has my respect for taking the time to work with an old piece of gear for so long. You can see in his vid that he now has a real appreciation for the advances in the tech, mad props to this dude!
