MPC ONE+..... WHY?!?!

The MPC One plus is AKAI refresh of the original version. They added both Bluetooth and WIFI to the unit (which was exclusive to the MPC Live 2, X, Key 61, & Force). Also, it comes with a free voucher come for the new standalone plugin Jura (a Juno clone). It still cost the same price. However, I'm sure everyone will have something to say......

It's the same machine, with a different color, swap out the ethernet card with a wifi card, put 16gb storage instead of 4gb (the costs for Akai are not worth to mention) and give a + in the name. In summary, it's just a refresh, not a new model unfortunately.

It worked out for me. It replaced my Touch and I got the WiFi capability which made updating and installing my free Jura a breeze. This machine saved my musical life

Ive had the MPC One for about 6 months. I love it! The only thing I thought was missing was wifi. Now that the MPC + is available, I'm trying to trade the OG in. Thanks for the review!👍🏾

I couldn't care less about wifi or Bluetooth to be honest. I'd rather see them support portable usage for the MPC One form factor (no, the Live 2 is not the same). I'm not surprised to see a MPC One+ though. If they improve the Live to something closer to the MPC One, then I would get the MPC Live 3 for sure.

I’ve only had my MPC One for about four months so hearing of this new release initially upset me. 😅 But after hearing what the new features are, it’s not a big deal for me. Sure, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth would be nice, but that’s not enough to make me run out and replace the One that I have just yet. As always, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Cheers! ✊🏾

From what I've seen at this point, the MPC One Plus is now cheaper than the original MPC One. I remember the MPC One coming out at $699, then the price increased at one point, to $899. I am seeing the MPC One Plus listed at $699 and MPC One still listed at $899. Maybe they are both coming back down to $699? Not sure

I enjoyed the video. I probably won't be buying this just for the Bluetooth and WiFi but I wish the mpc one did have that. If I do buy it honestly its because of the color haha I think its dope it comes like that. I love my black mpc one but this one is fresh looking

No ethernet cable input sounds like a mistake to me. Such a connection will always be faster and more stable than wifi could ever be...?

I can afford this rather than the SE but will I be able to run the big plugins without ram issues long as I export them after making something. When I get one I wanna load it up with all your stuff, MG, CMP, and So100 have that thing loaded and I'll get all the plugins. Every paycheck I'll get something new

I'm definitely going with purchasing the MPC One+ because I've a lot to think about on my mind when I want to make something happen when I wanna take my music journey seriously. As I learn more as I go with this, I believe by starting with this one will help. I hope to learn more when I make my purchase with this.
