Yoooo! My dude is more than solar panels and chargers. He’s guns and survival. Fricken love it!

Good stuff. I've got some stuff that works but may not be top line. Did just get a sweet hiking back pack but now I need to fill it up.

Super interesting topic, never seen those foam base layers before. I don't do many extreme cold trips so probably not what I'd need. You got a video on your AR setup?

Try buying gossamer gear pad on the bottom of sleeping pad……. I slept in 8-10” of snow in cuben fiber tent and GG pad then Kylmet cutout pad to let my down loft in zero degree bag…… the pad doesn’t sweat I used 1/8” but they have 1/4” for the hammock gear guys…..

I love my Fortress clothing, though I only have the socks and base layer like yours. The socks fortunately don't bother me at all..I could live in them all winter. I might have to get that face shield/hood item next. I wish I could afford more but I wait for the sales and treat myself to one item a year. Might have to wait a couple for the more expensive outer layers. The clothing really works as they say and are a great small business to work with. Thanks for your review.

Great info. I’ve thought about Fortress for years, but wondered about overheating, sweating, and then freezing. Ran into them again recently at western hunting expo in slc, so this is timely.

Whats your strategy for gloves/mitts? I may have missed it. Dexterity & trigger control+subzero temps+multiple hours is my unsolved mystery in cold weather preps.

Did you use nod's? Did they fail in the cold?👍
Nice job.
