I’ve always been a devout Christian since a little girl. In the house I grew up in, my play area was in our basement. My dad fixed it up with a mini-kitchen, I had book shelves, toys...our house was the only house in our entire neighborhood that didn’t have flooding issues in our basement. It never, not even once, flooded. But all the other houses did. I just realized that after watching this clip.

I love the ridiculousness of these 'I was an an atheist until...' videos. They're always something petty like 'I didn't used to believe until one day I was mowing my lawn and I was just finishing my last pass and as soon as the last blade of grass was cut I ran out of gas. From that day forward I knew there was a higher power out there watching over me.' These types of people are not atheists, they're all just neutral and looking for a reason to believe.
I've been an atheist for over 25 years and even if Jesus himself crawled out of someone's belly button in public and started talking to me I still wouldn't really care it was Jesus or believe he was the one true creator of the universe.. Not my god, not my problem.
