Hi there, l have a 40 hp mariner, 4 cylinders 1997. l noticed when l push the key in, l just here a click, it has the same looking solenoid thing, like on your video, with the fuel pouring out. L am confused though, isn't the butterfly thingies on the carbs suppose to open, when choked. and key pushed in. I see on this video that nothing was moving on the carburetors also

When is it supposed to click? Or, how do you get it to go without the motor running? When I turn the ignition to on or when I try to start the motor? I tested it on a battery and it's opening and closing properly but I can't tell if it's clicking open if I try to start the motor.

My 100hp 2 stroke 1993 elpto mercury has never clicked at the Enricher but worked great, recently hard to start or start then die so i tried pressing the enricher by hand and it fired straight up when someone turned the key at the same time, does this mean its faulty? Thanks for any input and ty for ur vid

Is this the enrichment solenoid? I have a 3.0 Mercruiser that needs one and they are quoting me $400 for a new one. Can these be rebuild or any other options?

Hi
How to test it?
Just pull out the down tube and turn the key?
Thanks a lot

I have 12v going to it when I push my key in (tested using a multimeter, 12v when key pushed, 0v when it isn’t) but I do not hear the click. Is there a way to repair this? Oh, 2004 50 hp merc 2 stroke.
