Thank you so much! Your video helped me make my birthday present for my dad.
I didn’t cast 44 stitches since I am using a regular sized yarn, not a bulky one. I casted on 82 stitches instead and It fits perfectly for an adult head! I used a 7mm needle if anyone is wondering.

Just finished my first beanie !! I had much smaller yarn and needles, and I love a slouchy hat, so I had 80 stitches. You’re tutorial was so clear and honestly just perfect. It was so much fun ! Thank you <3

This is the best knitting hat tutorial I've watched for beginners on YouTube. Your instructions were clear, you showed the English and Continental method and there's even have a left-handed video. You take the time to explain why something is done. I want to learn to knit/crochet and will definitely watch your videos. Thank you so very much.

I am a very beginner knitter and this was my first project. I have tried others tutorials but yours was the best by far! It was super easy to follow unlike others. My hat turned out great and only took me a few days! I highly recommend this hat to everyone especially beginners. Thanks so much for a easy free pattern!!! ❤️

I didn't realize making a hat was this easy. I have always been intimidated. Great tutorial!

As a crocheter, Norwegian purling was a great way to keep my stitches flowing smoothly since you don't change hand positions. Give it a try if you are getting discouraged with your speed. It takes some getting used to but I don't dread purling now. There are many videos on YouTube about it.

This is one of the best you tube tutorials I’ve ever seen. I learned to crochet on you tube. I’ve watched a lot of you tube. I’m learning to knit. Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. ❤️🧶

Thank you! I've been teaching myself to knit for a year but haven't moved past easy scarves. This morning I watched your video and now I'm halfway finished making the hat. Using large needles and bulky yarn is a great idea for a beginner (I was using fingerling and DK yarn!). I had a DUH moment when you said "bars are purls and V's are knit". Very helpful especially in the first and second rounds. I look forward to more easy knit projects!

I had my eureka moment! I've been knitting for over 15 years and I picked up your non dominant hand way of knitting within 5 minutes. I'm eternally grateful! So much quicker!!

yay just finished this hat - I started it yesterday afternoon! Thank you for the step by step...followed everything except that long tail cast on - I just cant wrap my brain around that so I used a knitted cast on and it worked out just fine.

I got the Yarn i ordered last week, thinking that i am going to knit a hat for my younger Brother. But last night i am little down since it didn't work as i expect. So today i have this confidence to knit hat to all family members and this confidence is from your video. We live in Tibet, 3200m altitude from the sea level. I deeply thank you and appreciate your video. Keep making videos like this.

Best tutorial ever! I stupidly restarted the beanie thinking that 44 stitches would be too small for an adult male head, but once I pulled the yarn off the needles, it obviously stretched a lot - so don't make my mistake, 44 stitches is perfect! About to make a second one for myself, highly recommend following this clear and helpful video! Thank you!!
