I'm on Windows, and after I hit alt-p the second time, I drag the rectangle to the left like you explain in the video, but when I scrub it, the rectangle just sits there outside of the video. It never scrolls across. I'm 2 hours into my attempt so I figured I'd ask for help.

I using AE 2015, when I double click the rectangle tools, it does not pop up what color to fill and no size can be changed, it just a layer, how to make the one like yours
