I'm on SSDI since 2002. My husband and I have been together since 2002. He was given his terminal prognosis late last year. I'm now 59 years old now. We were never formally married but we do have a two notarized instruments declar8ngvour relationship which we have both signed and notarized. This was to conform with the state of Texas required statement. Are these documents sufficient and am i eligible to receive my SSDI from his benefits prior to his death? If not now can I do this at 62, since he will not be filing for his benefits prior to his death?

Thanks

I think your show is great!😅

Thank you for what you do, Dr. Weir! Question: I was told that "Spousal" benefits Plus my benefits ($443) PLUS 30 % of husband's $2000 ($602) for a total of $1045. Did lady at office tell me correct? Because I thought the amount would not surpass the 30% amount, $602 spousal. Will my spousal check really be over $1000 (my $443 PLUS 30% of his)?

Somehow I don't think any Fortune 500 companies and shareholders pay any taxes. Tax Havens? A congress that gives them what they want.
