I’ve been so mind blown by this whole game so far. I’ve invested quite a lot of time so far, and I’m still only in Del Sol.

The mini games have been great, other than a couple being a bit frustrating at first. I’ve enjoyed Queens Blood as much as I enjoy Triple Triad, and the immersion into the overall world and gameplay is just mind blowing.

I must say, thank you much for the mini map tip, because I much prefer that over the tracker and I had completely missed that setting!

And since you can't switch to Punisher Mode from a basic guard like Remake, you can now time your triangle button press to switch and parry a melee at the same time

Great video!!
This highlights a lot of the more subtle (but extremely useful) nuanced variations in the combat kits of each character (especially Cloud). The in-game tutorials miss some of these, and only do a lightly passing job of introducing others.

I still don't understand weapon upgrades anymore unless it's just the little equip on the material screen now. The folio must have took over as the primary upgrade system.

The Circle → Hold Square to do aerial combat is so vital it's baffling there isn't as far as I know an explicit tutorial for it.

There is another hidden mechanic back party. During combat if you have down party you can go to your back party and do a synergy ability. I found it by accident when I was playing, they don't tell you until you walk to your party in the back during combat.

Idk if this is in the video (probably is because it's important) but DON'T neglect your folios.

I was getting my ass handed to me and somehow didn't realize how important leveling it up can be.

I really wish the party switch mechanic could have been implemented within combat. Most of the time, you can run from a fight and switch to a better liad out but there are times when this isn't an option and you either struggle to succeed (which can be fun) or you die and try again, which is kind of a pain.
