Badgers, owls, hedgehogs, stoats and weasels are just some of the fun-loving wild British animals that come to play on my daughters' climbing frame when they are not using it. Stoats just love doing fun things. Two were running up the steepest slope in my garden and rolling down to the bottom, just repeating it again and again. One morning, we could hear a crispy sound outside our window, and they were playing 'pounce, one running under a clear plastic sheet and the other jumping on it.

What a magnificent, healthy, chubby little bullfinch! Badgers do climb, and swim. I saw both of these on Springwatch a few years ago now...one made a good attempt at climbing a slightly angled tree trunk, for which he earned a punning name of John Tree-vaulter! The swimming was caught on night vision camera and a particular badger was extremely keen on Avocets' eggs and navigated a fence and a fairly broad stretch of water to get to the scrape (island) where they were nesting. He returned rather often and Avocet numbers were down until they found out who the thief was! Amazing creatures. Loved this video. Thankyou.
