If apple was really doing that to help you, why wouldn’t they tell you, give an option, announce that it is being done, something to cover their butts, unless they were trying to cover it up, only thing that makes sense to me.

Yes yes yes. BUT nobody is saying how iPhones from 13 and beyond basically brick features of the phone if you replace any parts or get a repair done outside of Apple. Heaps of videos on YouTube showing this. Any model from 12 and under doesn’t have this issue. For example if you replace the battery, it will stop Face ID from working. There is a YouTuber who got 2 iPhone 14s and literally swapped the screens over and it still bricked the phone. They deliberately don’t let you have it repaired outside of their repair service now, which means you don’t “own” your phone which you paid nearly 2k for in the iPhone 14.

After 1 or 2 years? How convenient, tech can flip a phone, fold a phone in half, make huge and small phones with all colors and all they advertise is camera resolution but can't make a phone last for years properly.

My iPad mini got updates until it was impossible to even use the built-in keyboard because it was so slow. The iPad used to be snappy and wonderful, now I can't even write an email with it.

They totally did this to have an excuse of slowing down your old phone. If that wasn't the case why not have a setting that gives you the option

I just bring my Samsung to their service center and in 20 minutes they replace the battery while it still under the 2 year warranty.

Can change other things too if they faulty, in my last phone they changed the USB port because it was destroyed and the screen for burn-in (which I didn't notice).

Not at all, what he explained covered apple's shady side. If that was the case why they didn't let the user know. That was the stupid excuse they came with in court. If that was true, why they got fined and paid million. Similarly, couple of days ago, a study showed apple is tracking alot even when its all is turned off . Why he isnt covering that. shady tech industry
Another thing, no doubt, apple's processors are more efficient than the competition and nobody else slowed their phone. Why Apple. And who asked for better battery over lag free phone. And why I can't have control over that.
