Girl, my low porosity hair is set up like yours-hard to get the moisture in and then quick for the moisture to leave out. I was so confused because everyone was saying with this type of hair once the moisture is in it stays, so it's good to see someone else in the same boat. I was moisturizing my daughter's hair today and was so jealous at how the products just melted into her hair! Lol! I do the LCO method as well on my hair.

I’m 4 years natural and been doing the LCO method. It’s worked well. I have medium density, type 4 low porosity hair. But y’all I tried the mane choice Tropical Moringa sealing cream and braid out glaze with argan oil, but I used the oil using the LOC and it made a world of difference 😱. I was a believer for a second but maybe my hair just likes argan oil, but it worked for me y’all so just experiment and try.

The Shea yogurt moisturizer is a sealant. There is no water in it. I don’t understand why it’s marketed as a moisturizer. It’s one of my favorite sealants. Especially in the winter time.

Yep good vid/info...I am high porosity and LCO is my go to! That CON line is the ONLY line so far that works with my hair and that I like!

Hey! Moisture going in and out of the hair is the definition of high porosity hair. Your hair is also color treated which lifts the cuticle. You are likely to have a mixture of porosities.

I used to try loc method on my hair but never got any benefits or results from it until I learned because I have low porosity hair, so it my hair struggles to aborsbs moisture and gets dry pretty fast 😀, and now I also learned that, “LOC method is for high porosity hair and LCO method is for low porosity hair so I’m so excited to try this 🥰
