Just used this tutorial for my surface pro 3. Upgraded from 10 pro to 11. The upgrade went smooth, windows activated, and it even got updates. I didn't get the message you got at the 2:36 second mark, even though im 10000% certain the surface pro 3 is NOT windows 11 ready, and definitely not supported. So, good show and thanks.

I feel like it would be possible to allow unsupported PCs that run Windows 11 to get updates. I see someone making something that will allow updates to happen.

Another way to install without tweaking the registry entries is to use the windows 11 setup file with the windows 10 bootable image. It worked for me

The "skip tpm 2.0" file isn't in the folder when I downloaded it

run the installer to the page telling you your pc doesnt meet system requirements, and click go back, then run the script with the installer open then click next, thats what worked for me

Microsoft should drop the requirement, people just don't want to tie the OS to their hardware, changing the motherboard will require a fresh reinstall of Win11, just wait for it.

Media creation tool only has 2 files in it neither of which say Skip TPM

I ran the tool to skip the TPM check and now it disappeared completely from my pc. I had TPM 1.2 before and now it disappeared from bios and the tpm.msc command says I don't have it. Is there any way to enable it back?
