How to Multiply 3 Digit Numbers | Part 1 | Vedic Maths Multiplication Tricks

Let's learn how to multiply 3 digit numbers. The key idea when multiplying three-digit numbers is that every digit gets a turn to multiply with the other number's digits.
▶️ Multiply Three Digit Numbers example and Solution:
121 x 231= 27951
▶️ Trick to Multiply Three Digit Numbers:
• Step 1: To calculate the product of three digit numbers we will divide the solution into five parts
• Step 2: Left most part is obtained by multiplying the left most digit 1 and 2
• Step 3: Next part is obtained by cross multiplying between 1 and 3, and 2 and 2, and then adding the respective values as shown.
• Step 4: Middle part is obtained by doing a 3 digit cross wise multiplication of 1 and 1, 2 and 3, 1 and 2, and adding the respective production.
• Step 5: Fourth part is obtained by doing a 2 digit cross wise multiplication of 2 and 1, 3 and 1, and adding the respective production as shown.
• Step 6: Right most part is obtained by multiplying the right most digit 1 and 1 of both the numbers.
