It's one of those great unsolved Australian mysteries, one Peter Overton has wondered about all his life. And now, he's finally got the solution. It all begins 75 years ago, back in March, 1932. You've probably seen it in the old newsreels - the Premier's poised to cut the ribbon and officially open the brand new Sydney Harbour Bridge. Up rides Captain Francis de Groot. With a flashing sword, he slices through the tape leaving old Jack Lang fuming and the grand opening in uproar. Now we've always known what happened to the captain, but that sword of his has been missing for 75 years. Until now.

For over forty years, 60 Minutes have been telling Australians the world’s greatest stories. Tales that changed history, our nation and our lives. Reporters Liz Hayes, Tom Steinfort, Tara Brown, Liam Bartlett and Sarah Abo look past the headlines because there is always a bigger picture. Sundays are for 60 Minutes.
