Some great advice Abe. I have a 600g which is my main display and I currently am running six four foot T5 fixtures which give great coverage along with Reefbrite LED strips as well. 👌

There is a led with dense led matrix + diffuse led lighting: the aqua medic angel 200. It's like a better looking kessil ap700 with some T5 (but all done with leds).

I supplement my Kessil AP700 led Orphek OR2 120 led light bars, one mounted in front and one behind the Kessil. So my hybrid system is the point-source Kessil light and the wall to wall light bars. I absolutely love the look of the tank with both types on and the corals are responding! 😁 Loved this video! lol, flicking money away, perfect. I always test my tentative purchases with the flushing toilet imagery: will buying this (whatever) be more pleasurable than flushing that money down the toilet and watching it drain away? It often surprises me that I feel the purchase won’t measure up! 😂😂😂😂

On my 7ft tank I run 4(t-5s) 1(metal halide Phoenix14k) and 2 JEBAO leds al-150. I like the hybrid methods.

What about some kessil a360x supplemented with reef brites? There was a recent BRS video that explained the kessils having the best and closest spectrum to T5s for corals.
