I was SO excited to get to this video. My budget in You Need A Budget has looked a mess for the last few months, but I am now off the credit card float and I wanted to make a video about how I assign funds, and my process that helps me stay on top of my (too) many credit cards.

Check out my referrals below if you want to try YNAB, and we will both get a free month if you sign up!

Not a boring video at all. I love watching these type of videos. We can always learn something watching others budget. I have been using YNAB since 2019. YNAB has helped me in so many ways. I'm 56 now and didn't start saving until I was 49. Better late than never. It took me 3 years to pay off my debt and will never look back. I still use one credit card but I pay off the balance every month and the money comes out of my categories thanks to YNAB.

When you were sitting there with 'extra' money I was just beaming -- what wonderful progress you have made! Off the credit card float and planning to get caught up ahead of April, you are doing AMAZING!

Ready to hear “a lil somethin saved for retirement” instead of “next to nothing”
I know it’s semantics, but your words have power!!

My work days feel so much more sluggish when I don't have any new YNAB videos to play while I work lmaoo. Nicely done staying off the credit card float! I remember when I first signed up for YNAB and saw how credit cards were handled I was SO confused because, as I would realize later, I was on the float! YNAB is so much more fun once you're off of it. Thank you for blessing us with a YNAB video! 😂😂

I always have to remember for NYC budgeters, Subway does NOT mean the sandwich shop 😂
You ARE so organized! This is awesome! Monthly budget videos are probably my favorite to watch 😬

Loved the video! I'm into budgeting videos and enjoy budgeting in general as well- sometimes I do think it is kind of an odd thing to find entertaining lol. This is the first time I've seen one of your videos- looking forward to seeing more. Personality matters even when it comes to "boring" budgeting videos and you are very engaging :)

I would always think I had more money than I really had when I used credit cards (payments and charges would take forever to post). So definitely appreciate YNAB, it really works well with setting aside money for those credit card charges

You should check out Lisa Marie Budgets if you haven’t already! She is turning 50 and showing how she’s turned things around too. She doesn’t use ynab but she definitely gets into the details

I knew I had really gotten somewhere when my ynab got boring! Being a month ahead is SO BORING! It's amazing to be bored about all my goals being paid for LOL

This was GREAT!! We’re currently on the credit card float ourselves, should be off by next month. It wasn’t boring at all, I love hearing your process and how you decide on what to put where. 😊

Yaaayyy!! YNAB!! I love it, great set up 😊
The biggest thing that helps me stick to my grocery budget (or at least come close) is a tip I learned from one of the very first YNAB videos I watched on their channel when I was getting started - get in the habit of checking your budget and not your bank account when you're seeing how much money you have. If YNAB says you have $50 then you have $50. It doesn't matter if your account says you have $5, 000 - you know that money has other jobs. (this is, of course, providing that you are reconciling and you know you actually have at least $50 😅)

I’m a pen and paper kind of person. Computers are scary for me. Your budget looks good

Nice🎉job. Maybe send extra money towards your emergency fund when you have money leftover.

Terrific video. Love that you are taking control and seem to be enjoying YNAB. May be the perfect tool for you. Boyfriend time at $20 does seem a little tough to do though. That’s coffee and a donut😂. Christine
