Well, I am quiet surprised that some people are critizising this video, of course no one doing reviews on objects can meet everyone's individually and different wishes or interest of a such. However I think she talks prety fast, wich shows me, she knows what she is talking about, no well, um and so on... And bringing this much brief information in just 3 minutes is in my viewpoint great. Short, detailed and right to the point. I think this one is great. (And sorry I am not a native speaker, so my comment is not in perfect english for all those people liking to critizise others too much.) ;-)

Wow, there are so many negative comments on this video. I think for the average person/beginner this video probably helped them. She also knew what she was talking about which quite nice. I've watched videos where people were extremely visually appealing or talked slower but didn't know a single thing and weren't helpful at all.

I think this is a greatt camera!! A down side is that dosen't have NFC as some of Samsung nx cameras and other brands. Is very good to share photos of the camera to our phone, tv, pc and tablets. God bless u all :)

how the hell is this just suitable for "family photos"? It records 1080p at 60fps. thats a bit more than just wack that out quickly during your 3 year olds nativity play. no one would spend over £500 just to record a couple of school plays. It could be the best camera in the world costing about £50, 000 and she would manage to find something bad about it and rate it 3 stars max because it has a spec of dust on the lens. this is an absolutely awesome camera and I would recommend it to anyone from beginner-intermediate photography skills.

ive got the D5300 and its excellent camera.yes knowing manual setting ect is a must but the key component of a photograther is there eye for composition.the next (gear) component is a lens that is up to the job that is needed.only downside to the D5300 is when using wifi it does eat up battery.

Cnet is not the place to go for DSLR reviews. It could be the absolute best camera on the planet and she would not rate it higher than three and a half stars.

Lady, 60fps on 1080p is bad. Gimme a break. Its a starting videographers dream, to shoot on 60fps with prime lenses. For this buck, its not bad, its great. When u add scripts on it, its heaven...
