Q max can also be good in matchups where you have Grasp anyways, as long as you have Manaflow Band, because even the base damage alone with a Doran's Ring behind it is great poke. Just make sure you don't do this into champions with shields or a lot of sustain (Sion, Riven, Renekton, Aatrox, etc.)
