WP to this Sion he played safe during laning phase, minimized deaths and yea he let some cs go but now hes scaled and is working with his team to win the game! Well played to this Sion!

Adjusting

I know like 2 weeks late but as someone that used to main sion before all the nerfs, the hardest matchups are brusers that can do extended trades, you want to short trade with sion. In matchups you cant really auto the champ forgo heartsteel and go jaksho or frostborn. Sion does have outplay potential but it takes knowing how the enemy champ works and the matchup. Or just farm and become an unstopable monster. 8-10 still isn't bad, nice vid

cool video idea! quick tips: it's good to just die in lane for tempo advantages and to proxy a lot. Also if you find that you're dying a lot, try to not reset your gold and give the bounties to your carries. This way when you split push to stack your W and create pressure, the enemy has no choice but to chase you except you're worth nothing and you're super tanky, which lets ur team do objectives uncontested

I have 1 mill mastery on Sion and I can say that he is one of those champs who is easy to “play” hard to master due to how all of his abilities are channeling skill shots. Good video tho! I liked it cause it shines some light on how difficult he is!

It all comes down to how we play the champs bc I play Sion like a traditional engage tank (start the fight, soak up damage so team doesn't have to worry, stop anyone from pushing to out squishy backline ect I don't really worry about kills) but on that note for me Sion just feels like Ornn without power creep. Ornn is tankier and has much much better engage/peel/damage/cc + INSANE free gold value with his passive. I still play Sion every now an then for one reason, I think Sion's ult is worse than Ornns but SO much more satisfying when you land it, I LIVE for good Sion ults that just decides the fight is over with before it even begins

sion isn't hard you just need to know what you are doing and the hardest part about him is you need to farm its priority just farming u win games by having stacks on your w passive not by getting kill from laner while losing a whole wave

im a sion main with 500k mastery and big fan of baus and tilterella, yes a big issue of sion is that he is a late game champ and there is not a single lane that he wins (you win lane only if your opponent is bad), any champion with a dash or a stun is a hard counter for sion, and makes the difference between a lane where you die 10 times in 10 min and a lane like rumble where you will die like 5 times max at 10 min (yes if a champ has neither a stun or a dash you still lose).
another very important factor is the runes and itemization: if you want to be relevant you need exactly the baus build.
and finally there is also the thing that even some games are unwinnable by tank sion, they are actually winnable for lethality sion, biggest example is gangplank, lethality sion can totally s*it on gangplank after 1 item if you are even in lane (with even i mean not losing too much)
a big bonus about sion is that you are always relevant all game and if your team has at least 1 winning lane and the others dont lose too hard (except you) you are guaranteed to win the game just by splitpushing perma all game
