I would like you to consider two new categories, reliability/durability and repairability. Please consider this: I've got a Vertex, one of it's belts broke in the second week of ownership, Shark doesn't sell belts, and it seemed insane to send it back, It would have been expensive, and problematic, and they don't warrantee belts, so potentially expensive. They don't publish specs so had to guess which belt, which meant I ended up getting the wrong one first. On to repairability, they really don't make it easy to service, and even after I got everything back together it no longer works quiet as well as before the belt broke.

thank you for actually putting out digestible information that isn't biased from sponsorships

I think repairability/what warranty covers would be a great addition in categories

I bought my most recent vacuum a little over a year ago after watching one of your videos and I adore it! I had been putting off buying a new one because I was overwhelmed by the options on the market, but all the tests you did really helped me prioritize what I need in a vacuum. Thank you so much for continuing to test these and make videos!

Never did I ever think I would watch a vacuum video not because I needed a vacuum, but because it was genuinely entertaining and informative. I bought a vacuum recently using a different VacuumWars video as a reference, and now I'm just back for the amazing content!

Because of your great review and comparison, we bought a shark 502 on black Friday for $150 at best buy. It’s the best vacuum we own. Our house is 90% old hard wood flooring.

We have always done Dyson. We have had a shark before but never liked it. We have been through three of them. Then we decided to buy a Dyson and we where so happy. The warranty was better the power just everything felt better. We have a Dyson v11 and a Dyson upright thats about a year old. So overall we have just had a better experience with Dyson.

For my subscriber wish I’d love to see an updated video for best vacuum for pet hair. And potentially include tests with short dog hair in the carpet. I have 2 pits with very bristly hair and I find it hard to get the hair out of the carpet/couch/car. Recently found this channel and love the videos! Thanks for your hard work!

Thanks for making this video!

I bought the Kenmore featherlite. I thought it worked pretty good. It picked dust my old vacuum couldnt. I was surprised.. shocked on how much dust was coming out. Sadly the hose broke off on the first day. I took it as a sign and went with the Shark Vertex. I was left in disgust with how much more dust it picked off the carpet. The kenmore pulled so much but the Vertex... where is it all coming from!! It's amazing.

Thanks again for the video.

This is a pretty great review, exactly what I was looking for. Accomplished all that it had to say in about five minutes; everything was information. Definitely saved me time doing manual research. I appreciate it! I also appreciate no sponsor spots within the vid.

Amazing like always! Dang, I was so disappointed to see my excellent Shark NV352—2021 budget winner—lose it's place as the top budget pick; but as you showed, those numbers on that Kenmore Featherlite don't lie. Congrats Kenmore on a winning the venerable 2022 Vacuum Wars budget option!

My personal favorite is the Kenmore CrossOver, which I like because it features the effective multi-cyclonic bin of a Dyson, the swiveling lift-away and quick-draw wand of a Shark, and the build quality of another Panasonic-designed unit like the 31150. I wish they did not discontinue the CrossOver Ultra, which had some unique features such as an UltraPlush head with bleeds somewhat similar to what can be found on the Ball Animal 3, a quick-draw on-board compact hard floor tool, and a dirt sensor like the Kenmore 31150. I thought those features made it stand out from other bagless uprights in a good way like Shark with their DuoClean heads and Dyson with their Ball steering and new DirectDrive heads.

Can you do a similar video with Vacuums not available at Walmart? Riccar, Sebo, Sanitaire, Kirby, Miele, Lindhaus, etc.?

Just a thought, you should do a comparison for pet focused vacuums, go get a heap of pet fur (both cat and dog) from someone and rub it into test carpets and see which ones do the best removing it. 👍

I love your reviews, but I'd like you to add one important factor to ergonomics: cord management. I have a Shark upright which, in order to use just the suction wand, I need to completely unwrap the cord. On the other hand, I have an old Electrolux from the 1980's which has a self-retracting cord. The vacuum from the 80's, despite being twice as heavy, is often easier to use for small things. Cord management makes a big difference!
