🌹 THE STORY:
Just months before Jenn's 30th birthday she is dumped by her long term girlfriend, Frankie. With the help of a surprise house guest, Jenn sets off on a mission to get Frankie back.

"In sapphic tv and film we see a lot of coming out or coming-of-age storylines. This is different." said Breanne Williamson. "I wanted to show fully realized LGBTQ+ characters dealing with something as relatable as the overwhelming pressure of being a woman who is about to turn 30.”

“I grew up watching romcoms that were comfy and predictable in the most delicious and endearing way. There is a place for queer film that highlights the hardships that LGBTQ+ folks endure, but we also deserve queer film that feels safe and cozy and that is Aging Out.” said Breanne Williamson.

"I'm kinda like the Leonardo DiCaprio of Lesbians; I get older, they stay 22". Breanne, this line was brilliant! I'm still laughing 5 minutes later! So thanks you, it was a great film, I loved it, and especially the happy ending. Too much of real life is too sucky, you know? So I love a happy ending in a movie.
I'm transgender, and 67, so my self-identification as lesbian comes from a different set of life experiences than that of all of you younger, AFAB people, but I hope that's not an issue for you. Hugs to you and the rest of the cast and crew, and hope you have a wonderful Christmas, or whatever mid-winter holiday you celebrate.

i swear some of this was so deliciously cringey and just so perfectly stereo-typical for rom coms that they were perfect like the kitchen scene with annie and the end scene.

This was very cute! The idea of aging out at 30 is a wild thought, being closer to 40 and single, myself 😅. However, it’s the universal premise of not short-changing yourself and being open to new things, despite societal expectations, that makes this piece so great.
