This reminds me of something Revan pondered in his novel; namely that Force Visions were much more common among Light Side wielders than Dark Side wielders, because the latter were usually only focusing inwards, shackling the Force, while the former were trained to allow the Force to flow through them

They should’ve made Snoke the villain of the sequel trilogy, no Palpatine at all, not make Luke feel so unrecognizable in the trilogy, make the whole trilogy a lot less woke, and finally have George Lucas and Dave Filoni at least advisors or scriptwriters or give the scriptwriters some ideas on what Star Wars really is and what real Star Wars fans really want. Then maybe, just maybe, the sequel trilogy would be somewhat enjoyable to watch

Because the writers of the Star Wars “sequels” were not true fans of the older movies and just wanted to change it to what they wanted. But people didn’t like that so they had to change things around and this is the out come we got. Three extremely bad movies.

i think noke was being controlled by "the emperor" a tether of sorts. palpatine wanted snoke out of the way eventually anyway for his return. good way to get him out of the story and make way for palpys "return". but your break down is accuarate

I mean, Snoke dying so easily is the exact same as Palpy dying so god damn easily. Both thought they were in control. Until they weren't. In Snoke's case, he was quite literally gloating. He had thought he'd dominated Kylo. Made Kylo his lesser. When he said he saw Kylo's foe, he was so in his own head that he never thought Kylo saw him as his foe. The entire movie Snoke has been shoving Kylo down, trying to dominate him and in this moment, Kylo has chosen to follow another path. His own. No sith, no Jedi. Himself. God Kylo should have been the villain, but then good ol Jar Jar Abrams and all the whiners made Palps happen.

Snoke should have gotten his injuries from prime Luke and wanted revenge. He could have been trying to steal Kylo Ken's body to become even more powerful.

I feel like a reason why the sequels were so bad is because they didn’t have any real character or any story for that matter, they just had a v2, like a stereotype of every star wars character that we had before, like poe being a washed down han solo, rey being kinda like luke with the shitty plot twist and kylo just following the path of vader

If I were writing the sequel trilogy, I would still have Palpatine involved. Here me out! Snoke would be a imperfect clone for Palpatine to have transferred his essence to just prior to his death on The Second Deathstar. Explaining why Snoke is the way he looks. Snoke still dies, but it happens after Kylo and Rey battle his guard. The First Order rush him to a triage facility or something, and tell him there is nothing they can do for him, at that point he says that this body has served its purpose, and Snoke "dies" but another imperfect clone of Palpatine is revealed. Ending the movie with the revelation that Palpatine was once again, manipulating events from behind the scenes.

As much as i also wish that Snoke was the main villain of the sequel trilogy instead of Palpatine, now that I think about it, WOULD it have really made the trilogy better? I feel like deep down, regardless of whether they brought Palpatine back or not, fans would still complain about the writing and bash the trilogy. It probably wouldn't have made a difference at that point.
