Yes, this is the original version of the tune, done for their "Demo", which was later issued as their initial four-song EP, "Oingo Boingo" in 1980. The version on the "Only A Lad" album from a year later is a re-recording, but the original is the better version.

never heard the Demo version before.　
sounds similar to Insects by Oingo Boingo in the open guitar riffs. The lyrics are basically the same. Just a slight difference in lyrics in the early part of the lyrics.
This was my Conservative Christian Chinese-American best friend's song. He's now on the Wrong Side of Heaven. RIP.

I was recently recommend this song from a coworker after mutual enjoyment of another Oingo Boingo song on the work radio.

My thoughts, not my favorite Oingo Boingo song.

The relevance of this song to the Sheriff's defense of the Atlanta Massage Parlor massacre speaks volumes, and further validates the need for medicare for all at the very least for the psychological therapy necessity of it, obviously, IMHO.

What version is this? I have the original Only a Lad CD and the song on there has a lower pitch, some of the instruments are different, and it's about 20 seconds shorter.

If, The Human Prison System (or The Human Justice System ) was Perfect and Fair and Just, then I would be for "Life without Parole" for certain crimes, but since The Human Prison System (or The Human Justice System) is NOT Perfect or even Fair or Just, then I am for The Death Penalty for serious crimes and without waiting on "Death Row" for too long, either. But, the prisoner must be executed in a humane way and not by torture or by some horrible means. The human should be "Put Down" just as any other animal is "Put Down" when it becomes a menace to the society or to the community. R.D.C.
