Weird song. In the description of my original video for this song, I said dumb song. A self-proclaimed "diehard Oingo Boingo fan" commented saying this song's inclusion was enough to get him to buy a game, and I replied jokingly, "never thought I'd see someone publicly claim to be a diehard Oingo Boingo fan." This exchange happened over a year ago, probably closer to two years ago. Last week, I received a comment in that chain telling me "if you can't appreciate Danny Elfman and pingo boingos musical genius, you don't deserve to have the ability to hear, fuck you."

In conclusion, I've suddenly lost my ability to hear.

You wanna know something? My dad inspired this game for Harmonix, he sent them an email many years back, after GH2 came out. He said he really enjoyed GH1 and GH2 and said if they ever wanted to make an 80's version, he requested "Only A Lad" and "Play With Me" to be a part of the game. And so that's when they started working on it and released it soon after! I couldn't be more proud of that, especially since me and him are big fans of Oingo Boingo.
