Thanks for the 101, I've done a couple other racing games and just picked up F1 23. This video sheds some light on how to start, where to find things and how to learn the game. I enjoy how much of a driver aspect of the track and flow games gives. As a long time F1 fan when I started playing games it gave a new perspective when watching a race and now I can explore all the tracks from this view. Looking forward to watching more videos

Amazing video, cheers for all the insights. I've just started sim racing and have just started f123. I went to elite settings to go for the truest feel, but just don't have the control yet (heaps different from gran Turismo 7). Think as you mentioned the best way and the most enjoyable way is to slowly lower the assist, instead of getting frustrated and leaving the game haha. Swallow a bit of humble pie and start from the beginning in this journey 😂

Thanks for the video. I just got F1 23 on a STEAM sale price. Right now i am doing the time trial mode on different tracks. Just want to get on the tracks and practice and race some laps to see how I do with AI. Don't plan to do Career mode or multiplayer. Don't have the time for all that. If I can have some fun with the AI, that will be good enough for me. Favorite track and know it the best is Australia.
I do all my racing in VR mode on my PC, so F1 23 does have VR. Default setups are good enough for me, not planning to compete against anyone.

I also have F1 22 which this game also has VR, and did the same things in that game.

You mentioned the wheel settings video is done, but I'm not seeing it yet. Am I likely to need to change anything compared to last year's settings or is it best to keep the same? I'm thinking I may be able to reduce throttle linearity if traction is so much better, although I want to run zero traction this year and I mostly used medium in 22 to reduce spins.
