I believe the reason why behelits scream when they’re activated is because they’re supposed to mirror despair of the person using them. In the moment a behelit is activated, the person is at their absolute lowest and would beg for anyone to take away their pain. A behelit’s scream is like the physical representation of that and allows a person’s despair to reach the godhand.
