Support reserves, sanctuaries, rehabilitation centers and never give into the traps that are zoos.

Another zoo secret:
They trade animals like Pokémon cards, a single horn puppy (aka a rhino) might cost you 20 penguins.
Just like if you wanted 1 good Pokémon, you need it’s gonna cost 20 Delibirds or more.
(Some stuff is credit to: Hood nature.)

It doesn’t cost anything to let an elephant run free in the wild, so of course it is more expensive to keep it in a zoo

Not all zoos are like this and they actually do everything they can to help them stay safe comfortable and also have helped prevent extinction, and if they have to many animals they will transfer them to other zoos like the good ones that truly exist for the animals

Zoos sometimes shorten the life of animals, but sometimes they find animals dying and save them.

My uncle said he don't like the zoo because it's a jail for animals

50x more expensive to keep elephants then let them run in the wild.

50 x 0 = 0 😐

I feel bad for these animals. We all know that they shouldn’t be kept in zoos but if it effects their health and lives of there young ones…. It’s worth keeping them free in the wild 😔

Don't forget that most animals are in zoos because they can't survive out in the wild or they're endangered species and zoos are the only way to keep them alive and kicking

Zoo's? You mean animal prisons

Actually technically they don't need to give pills or sacrifice young ones. They can just release the older animals into the wild.

While visiting Colorado springs, I visited a very good zoo. The zoo took such good care of its animals that the security was relatively minimal. The only thing keeping a hippo from trampling me was a glass pain that it could easily smash through, but chose not to because it was fat and healthy and had no worries. The penguins only had a piece of rope keeping them in the humans apart. And yet they chose just to walk up and play. The cougars were given boxes to play with and interact with but were also given a completely separate part of their enclosure away from the humans. The zoo was built for the animals, not the humans. Many of them were disabled, for example one of the elephants had a very twisted leg and could barely walk, and yet it was the oldest. Meaning it had survived so long since 1998, I think her name is Mary? Cute girl. You weren't allowed to ride any of the animals, and the only animals you are allowed to feed are chickens or goats.

Wouldn’t it be infinitely more expensive having an elephant that not because not having one would be free in terms of elephant costs

When I first heard you said zoos I thought it was Zeus

im pretty sure that letting an elephant run free is infinitely cheaper than keeping it. cuz after it's gone, you dont have to worry about it. and it shouldnt cost anything to release it

In 6th grade the teacher asked “how will we keep animals from not going extinct”
And I said “we make them have babies” “no we don’t force them to have babies” “we can put them in a zoo” “no that would be worse” “so then we donate money” “that’ll work”
