Tilikum was actually captured and brought by Sealand. After a death of a trainer, Tilikum and the 3 other orcas were all sent to SeaWorld. SeaWorld actually requested to take Tilikum because they complained that living in a tiny medical pool was bad for him.

Bent dorsal fins are also found in the wild as well.
Sadly, many other marine mammal parks that have orcas (Loro Park, Miami Seaquarium, Marineland France, ect.) are usually ignored cause SeaWorld has the famous name of Shamu. People are going to act like once they get rid of seaworld, they get rid of all orcas in captivity. Also, some orcas have straight dorsal fins. Like Orkid and Corky for example. So if they were really sad because of their dorsal being bent, it means their happy.

Also, I don’t understand why people believe the bent fin stuff. Dorsal Fin and emotions attached?! That’s not true.

The thin is dolphins are ok with humans touching them occasionally but they don’t want to be touched even close to as much as they do

I’ve heard this many times and it’s a horrible coming and I hope they get back in the wild.I want them to be taken away from these people and helped then slowly let back in the wild when the orcas are ready to leave 🙏😞

even though orcas are the biggest bullies of the sea, they dont deserve to be abused like this. seaworld is sadly a terrible living space.
dolphins are also very sensitive to human contact, its very bad for them too.

One time I was out sailing and I saw a large amount of orcas swimming in their natural habitat. They were all jumping around with there babies. I didn't get to see them up close because I don't want to stress them out but I can't imagine them in a little tank like at seaworld has for them. They were swimming in way larger areas than seaworld.

It’s a natural condition DUE TO THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THEIR CAPTIVITY

Another fun fact: orcas get lots of sunburns by being forced to be out of the water all day, the the workers paint then with black stuff to make them look normal

There collapsed dorsal fins have n it hung to do with the size of the “pool” but I will say they can be caused by temperatures but that is rare. More commonly it’s actually caused by a serious injury to the dorsal fin like a collision with a ship or boat.

bro my mans says kidnapped as if its a special occasion. Pretty much every sea animal is "kidnapped" when taken into an aquarium

In San Antonio Texas, they only take injured animals and sick animals that can't live in the wild, and if they do make a recovery where they can live in the wild, they release them.

Sea land after one of the workers there was killed by getting dragged down constantly until she drowned
