The shot of him opening the gates in the courtroom softly - showing that he is fully capable of controlling his strength. Underrated shot

That sadness in superman’s eyes really convey that he just realized that he failed to save anyone and that he didn’t act quick enough. Guilty soul

You know, given his super hearing, he can hear each hatred filled shouts against him and he doesnt react to it. Some real self control there

People complained about Superman not smiling in this movie. Well, would you smile when all the chaos around you is taking place? I wouldn’t.

Henry Cavill was a right pick for Superman.

This is proof that even a powerful hero like Superman can feel powerless. He was not sad of depressed in the film this was all according to Lex Luthor plan and Lex won in the end

People keep saying Henry Cavill's Superman is too dark, when in reality, he's not. Christopher Reeve's Superman was exactly like this, except the world accepted him the minute he saved a life for the first time. Henry Cavill's Superman is Zack Snyder showing us what it would look like if Superman was in the real world and imo, it's the best take on Superman anyone has ever done.

A little hard to believe that Shazam exist in the same world as him.

Can't believe Lex let his hot assistant die like that.

The greatest mistake of this film was its name, it created an expectation, everyone who watched it was waiting for the grand fight, they made a marketing spectical over only a small part of the film. If they simply named it something along the lines of just 'Dawn of Justice' with no advertisement of the actual battle between the two characters then it would have been a twist in the films story, a shock.

3:05 This scene makes the whole film great. Look at the sadness in Clark's eyes. No matter what he does, there are always casualties. Clark is so lonely. He has his mom and Lois, but apart from them, there's nobody who understands him. It is at this moment, he realizes that even he can become powerless. The guilt conveys thousands of words.

3:58 "Thank you, hum... I'm gonna need a little room... to work..."

In a such small dialogue, that officer made himself much more important than a god-like creature in that particular moment, just demonstrating how powerless Clark felt

2:42 Martha must know better than anyone that her son is the only one unharmed inside that building. But she's still a mother, and she cares about her well-being. What a touching reaction.

2:59 That moment when he express he couldn't save anybody..was remarkable.. no superhero film can make that scene ever

I like how superman's suits looks like something a literal god among men would wear instead of some cheesy underwear.

"All these powers, and I couldn't save them"
Kryptonian or not, he watched them die in slow motion, and that, combined with 'survivor's guilt', will take its toll, psychologically.

What? Are you kidding? Why would they cut him helping them out? That MADE this entire scene. His facial expression showing that helplessness and regret. You could tell he was feeling, “all this power, and I couldn’t save them”. The look at Lois, but refusing to go by her side and then flying off into his own misery brought on by the misery of all those families. They screwed the pooch on this. If you’re going to make a movie, Release the entire damned movie. This was epic. A lack of Henry Cavil in future installations will deter me from seeing any Superman movies going forward. I don’t want the happy go lucky Superman. I want the Real Clark Kent. Struggling as an alien alone on a human planet trying to find himself and keep sane while harnessing the powers of a God. Excellent actor for the role.
