Put simply, latex is a liquid that dries to a dense rubber. Foam latex is a chemical compound made with latex that bakes to become a soft rubbery material that is "foamy" much less dense and heavy. - David

I would love to watch all for this just for fun and out of my own interest but they are charging as if people are going to use them for actual practice reasons which i wouldn't, this is the sort of detail i wish blu ray special features would go into.

If this is in the tutorial, I don't need an answer to this: Why foam latex? Why not silicone or latex? Doesn't foam latex rip like a sponge? Isn't it hard to prepare? I like creature effects. I've even tried it a little, myself. There's just that burning question I have of why foam latex is the professional standard.

we need some kind of solution to film a velociraptor I wonder if here you could allow me to contact some students who could be interested in creting a solution: maybe a custom --we have an idea for it-- or maybe an animatronic
