Its funny, but the limitations of reality as we know it are often the very things that make our imagined creations seem more real. CG far too often fails to grasp that

This is why full CG should never push out traditional, albeit technologically advancing, FX. Humans act, with a purpose, even when they are being nonhuman. A person in control of a CG charater may be able to try and duplicate a performance in real time and space but I believe there is nothing close to the vivid experience of seeing a "real" creature in the frame with real actors, on a real set. .
