I think the problem with the images isn't a copy/paste. My guess is that in a PDF there is no way to know what is an image and what is not whereas in the Kobo EPUB format images are handled as such and so it's possible not to invert the colors for them. So if you really think about it, it's maybe not so easy to fix..

Can you mark in the pages without an input box like on the Scribe? seems to be the biggest difference. The problem is I am already heavily invested in the Kindle eco-system with many kindle books

Why doesn’t such companies sent out samples of their products to good, qualified people for reviewing, then consider what consumers say, according to their needs and perhaps wishes. Then go back to the table and come up with solutions??? Is it so hard to do???

do you think that scribe is faster than kobo? I own a kobo ellipse, however I observed while writing that delays are present, seems that the problem arises from the software or from the pen. I don't know exactly, right now I'm thinking to buy the kindle since I really wanted to have a note taking device. Can you give me suggestion, if I still remain kobo or it's a good choice to buy kindle. thank you

Definitely improved versus when I first got it but still won’t use to write my journal 😂only study problems I’ll delete anyways😊
