Fix MTS Audio in Premiere Pro importing without audio

Importing mts files has been a problem across video editors, across decades. Lets' work around this problem.

My premiere wouldn't even let open the mts file and this tutorial was the only thing that helped me. absolutely new follow and like (Y)

My problem is the audio going out of sync. Which won't happen in VLC. And the exported media has audio sync issues too.

Thanks for sharing this one bro, I always have the same problem with my old Sony Nex 5N, since I will always choose the AVCHD format instead of MP4 since it has a higher quality bitrate. I used to convert the whole video file into mp4 before importing it to Premiere, but now at least I know I don't have to, I will just need to convert the audio file separately.

I had a bunch of files and this solution was time consuming ... so finally I found another solution wich is to edit it with an older version of Premiere. But thanks!

my issue is that there is audio, but there is no video. When i double click the mts file inside the project window it opens in the preview with the video. But if i drag the video onto the timeline, theres no video.

Dear friend am happy today i found a solution and i will make a tutorial for you. In shot just make sure the A1 and V1 are turned into blue. Then put your file you will find audio no plugins no converting.
