Are you just getting started with Tarot? Maybe you've been trying to learn for a while but you've picked a deck that doesn't resonate with you, or is too difficult.

In this video ~ 5 Tarot Decks That are Perfect for Beginners ~ we look at 5 tarot decks that are brilliant for getting started.

To add context, we first look at my relationship with tarot and the struggles that a new (or experienced) tarot reader can face. I talk about my favourite deck and how I came about it, and I show you my hack for choosing the perfect tarot deck.

Then we look at five decks. The first three are perfect for the beginner, and follow Rider Waite Smith symbolism and energy. The next two are slightly more intermediate, but perfect for those who have the basics already down.

Finally, we have a look at some tarot books.

I'm watching this on March 30..the Tarot card deck I started with is the Rider Waite Smith Tarot deck...I like the Tarot card decks you have shown...I need to rewatch this video again..the 3rd deck you showed is rather interesting...but, I branched out and found a deck that I somehow gravitated to...The Crow Tarot card deck....but, that's just me...excellent video...(the 4th deck looks rather interesting, awesome video...even before the end..of what you mentioned about the gardening work going on...and the 5th deck looks good, too...thank you for being an awesome friend and mentor....💜....(I gotta check out the books, too)....I did this comment on my smartphone while watching the video....

Gypsy Witch Fortune Telling cards (although not actually a tarot deck), I still count as my first tarot. I have a deck you modeled for, Rider Waite and dozens of other decks. I started collecting again when I discovered BaBa Studio when I was in my 30's. I've read books on tarot and have studied on my own. When I get alone with tarot, it speaks to me. I don't use it for telling the future, but as a helpful guide to connect with my innermost being. Now is a great time for people to learn tarot. When I started, there were few decks then the market exploded! Good information here. Thanks for posting.

My first deck was an oversized RWS deck. I called it my blinds man deck. Lol It was the only one the book store had.
I could never memorize the meanings and always had to use the little booklet that came with the deck. But my interest would come and go with the cards.
And how awesome you got to model for a card. That is so cool. You should think of teaching a class on tarot.
